Crosswalk in Lancaster, CA

A painted crosswalk at the intersection of Lancaster Blvd and Cedar Avenue in Lancaster, CA.

This artwork pays tribute to all the animals that may have crossed the Boulevard at one time or another. Desert tortoise footprints, cactus wren footprints, bobcat prints, and of course, antelope hoofprints, are all featured. There are also two giant tumbleweeds and some other desert plants represented as well.

Big thanks to the City of Lancaster, Museum of Art and History, and Birdman for the amazing photos and video.
